So affirming and encouraging!
Women don't even realize that we were unconciously program to shove our pain down and away so that we don't inconvenience anyone. I was just talking to a woman I met randomly in a store about this and it made me think of this podcast! Dr. Moore is blowing the lid off of this subject, telling it like it is, being honest about pain, and helping us heal. She's got an amazing interview demeanor and this show is fun and encouraging to listen to. Thanks, Dr. Moore for doing this incredibly important work!
Awesome listen!
This has been so helpful for me figuring out tangible next steps in dealing with my chronic pain/illness. I have a lung disease which leaves me short of breath and terrified of working out at times. Dr. Andrea is always delivering great tips and helping to reframe my outlook and approach in dealing with my pain. Thanks for the great podcast!! đź’•
So much appreciation for this work
I love this Podcast more than anything. I am suffering from musculoskeletal pain & recurrent inflammation in different regions of my body for almost 4 years now and nothing has helped me more than understanding that a constant check-in with our bodies and emotions is necessary. It has, in fact, helped me even more than any injection. No doctor really tells you what to do in order to fully recover from inflammation, surgery or even pain itself. Nobody has the time to listen to our anxieties. The tips from this podcast are more practical and empathetic than anything orthopedics could give me during the past years. The podcast is full of anecdotes, has a warm atmosphere and the examples Dr. Moore gives to explain things are often very much based on her own experience, which makes it easier to follow (but which also makes it, of course, a little bit more time-investing). For perfectionist, overachievers & co this might be important tho, because we’re not super used to immediately know what it’s like to do the “body-work”. The podcast is based on the theory or rather the fact that a highly sensitized nervous system increases pain levels. Dr. Moore gives then guidance on learning how to connect with ourselves and our bodies in order to reduce this sensitivity. I would have never thought that this could even be a nice experience, as I hated my useless body and rather wished it to disappear fully. But nobody can live in the clouds / in their head / in the intellectual sphere only. It’s enriching to learn listening to our bodies and emotions and to see how strength builds up more and more during this process. Note: of course no one's process is linear. This podcast is not a magic pill. But when pain flares up, it’s already helpful to be able to deal with it.
Must listen!
If you are dealing with nervous system dysregulation, give it a listen! She is quirky, funny, silly and full of wisdom, I enjoyed her podcast!

I am hooked on your podcast..:-) It’s pointed toward the younger crowd but why turn off the older folks with the F word? The F word does not work…. But your in control with printing this comment, …..it is an underlining cringe for people of my age. What are u rebelling about at your beautiful age?
Stop and listen
Best podcast I’ve EVER heard. Seriously the best resource for addressing chronic pain. Dr Andrea is an amazing resource.
